Speaking of Forms Registration widget...

The Registration widget allows quickly managing form records. In addition to adding new records and viewing them on the home page, you can also edit form records by selecting the record to be edited. The Registration widget also allows deleting form records that you no longer need in queries.

You can export the data of forms added in the widget into CSV or Excel files for data queries or control purposes.

Step-by-step instructions to add the widget

01. Click the gear icon next to the user name.

In the Liquid theme, click the gear icon on the right-hand side of the screen.

02. Click Edit page.

03. Select the slot to include the widget.

04. After the selecting the widget slot, open Forms and locate the Forms Registration widget.

Complete the Forms Registration widget

Step-by-step instructions to complete the widget:

01. Enter a title for the widget in the title field.

02. Select the form to be included in the widget in the field “Select...”

You can only use the Registration widget with forms created with Forms Beta as of the updates Waterdrop 1.6.4 and Liquid 1.6.5.

03.Set the number of lines shown in the widget in Results per page. It ranges from10 to 30 lines.

04. Form fields are shown as a list, including the Column name, Field ID and Field type. You can also sort fields as needed using the arrows located next to each field.

05. Select the fields required to show records.

Attention

To use form fields with the same name in the Registration widget, check the field ID to differentiate the fields, if you do not need to show information from both fields.

Example: The form has two fields with the name “DATA”, but the widget must show information only from the first field. In this case, check the field ID under Advanced Options in Forms to select the record to be shown in the widget, according to the form ID.

06. Select the buttons to be shown in the widget menu“More Options...” Available widget buttons: Add, Edit, Delete, and View.

All buttons are shown in the Show column by default.

To change, drag and drop the buttons to be shown in the Show column and the buttons that will not be shown in the Hide column.

You can define buttons in the widget as needed and at any moment, simply by editing the page to change settings.

07. Click Save

A message confirming the widget settings will appear. Click Close.

Pay attention

Widget search is only shown when Forms has one of the following field types among its first 5 fields: Text, Numeric, Date, and Evaluation. Under these conditions, it is possible to filter records in the aforementioned fields. In addition to adding new records and viewing them on the home page, you can also edit form records by selecting the record to be edited. The Registration widget also allows deleting form records that you no longer need in queries.

However, widget search will not filter fields of types: Single choice, Multiple choice, List, Drop-down list, User search, Search, Paragraph and Rich text.

But don't worry!
The widget configuration to be included in the platform’s pages will remain the same. You can configure it with the most used fields with no problem. The only condition being that, in case of Single choice, Multiple choice, List, Drop-down list, Search user, Search, Paragraph and Rich text fields, you cannot filter the records of such fields in the widget search, since they are non-filterable fields.
