To make a direct association means that an accounting book must be first created and then associated directly to the entity. In this case, you can filter reports in advance.
Suppose the company ABC Electronic Circuits has a large chart of accounts and factory managers only want to receive trial balances with accounts related to their area. You must:
1. Register the book configuration.
First, create a book in accordance with the following table:
Field | Content (example) |
Book Configuration Code | 001 |
Description | Reports of Panamanian Factory Management |
Account Cover | 001 |
Note the relationship between the account cover and the book. In this case, when requesting printing of the book, all ledger accounts will use the associated accounting mask.
2. Register the Accounting Entity (Chart of Accounts):
To bind the book to an account in the Chart of Accounts Register, fill out the field Book Configuration as follows:
Accounts | Configuration of Books |
4110102 | 001 |
4150307 | 001 |
4110902 | 001 |
4111001 | 001 |
3. Trial Balance Report
To print a report with the Panamanian Factory Management view (Example: Model 1 Trial Balance), set parameters and answer the question Book Config. Code? with the number of related book.
4. Final Result - Trial Balance
Only accounts containing the code 001 in field Config. of Books are printed in the Trial Balance.
