CONTENTS

01. OVERVIEW

Use this register to store the main information pertaining company insurance policies, such as policy number, insurance company name, contract validity, insurance type, coverage type, insurance value and deductible as well as broker.

Use this option to control the insurance policies of company assets, to better analyze contract data on claims.

The system allows linking one or multiple assets to an insurance policy. To do so, just select the policy number in the Asset Register.

02. PROCEDURES

To register the Policy, follow these steps: 

1 - In Updates / Register / Insurance Policy (ATFA300);

2 - The window Insurance Policies - Add is displayed, divided in folders;

3 - Default Folder: In this folder, enter the data pertaining the insurance policy, such as insurance company name/code, policy number, policy description, start date, due date, currency, etc.;

4 - Registration Folder: In this folder, enter the party insured and the beneficiary;

5 - Classification Folder: In this folder, enter the insurance type, coverage type and renewal;

6 - Values Folder: In this folder, enter the values pertaining the insurance policy, such as: insurance value, deductible value, premium value, discount value, installments, installment values, due dates, etc.;

7 - Broker Folder: In this folder, enter the code and name of the insurance broker;

8 - When you finish the registration, click Save.

03. OTHER INFORMATION


How does the insurance policy work in fixed assets and is there integration with Financials? Insurance policies, how to enter in the system to generate financials automatically?

The Insurance Policy (ATFA300) routine does not generate integration with the Financials module.

Use the Insurance Policy register routine to store the main information pertaining company insurance policies, such as policy number, insurance company name, contract validity, insurance type, coverage type, insurance value and deductible as well as broker.

Use this option to control the insurance policies of company assets, to better analyze contract data on claims.

The system allows linking one or multiple assets to an insurance policy. To do so, just select the policy number in the Asset Register.

In the system, you may register the insurance policy only for control purposes, though the installment values are not generated as monthly entries.
the Installment field refers to the quantity of premium value payments.

MILE - Model Integrator Layout Engine

The Insurance Policies (ATFA300) routine does not have the MILE feature.
Since the routine lacks MSExecAuto or MVC which are pre-conditions for using this feature.
