Asset depreciation/capitalization time
With relation to the depreciation time to be considered when capitalizing used assets.
By law we have that, for goods purchased used, the allowable useful life (for depreciation) will be the GREATER of the following options:
- Half of the useful life period for a new asset.
- The rest of the useful life.
