  • Update on Due Date of Tax Bills (FINA090 - SIGAFIN)

The parameter MV_ATVCIMP allows modifying due dates of tax bills (IRRF, PIS, COFINS and CSLL) when writing-off the main bill, where:

F (False) – Does not change the due date of tax bills when writing-off the main bill (third working day of the week subsequent to the due date of the main bill).

T (True) – Changes the due date of tax bills when writing-off the main bill and re-calculates them based on the writing-off date of the main bill (third working day of the week subsequent to the writing-off date).

Example

Take as an example an NF (invoice) bill falling due on 03/01/04, which will generate taxes falling due on 03/10/04 (third working day of the week subsequent to the due date of the main bill):

If this NF bill was paid on 03/10/04:

1. Parameter MV_ATVCIMP = F

Taxes due date is not edited.

2. Parameter MV_ATVCIMP = T

Tax due date is edited and re-calculated for 03/17/04 (third working day of the week following the writing-off date).

Important:

  • Tax values information is available when a bill is added to avoid jeopardizing information for cash flow.
  • This parameter only modifies the due date. If there is a partial writing-off of the bill, the date changes but no new tax bill is created based on the difference between the bill and the base amounts.
  • This rule is applied to IRRF bills only when the due date of the tax bill is calculated based on the actual due date of the bill (MV_VENCIRF= V).
  • The due dates of tax bills paid before payment of the main bill are not modified.
  • If this parameter is not configured, the due dates of the tax bills are not modified.
