The configuration of Accounting Books is a file where you can configure the way a report must be issued. Through this routine you can:
- Create accounting statements in accordance with national accounting standards.
- Create summarized reports in accordance with the company's requirements.
- Generate statements that meet the requirements of accounting standards that one different from Brazilian standards (US GAAP, IAS, etc.).
- Filter information.
- Associate accounting masks.
- Modify the way amounts are printed.
When generating a report, the configuration to be printed must be entered; then the system will adopt the definitions from the file. Additionally, it is a feature to group different customization registered for accounting entities used to print reports.
To be used, accounting entities mask and management plans must be specified in this register.
The book configuration will be effective only if associated with an accounting entity. From this point, such an entity will always be displayed whenever the book is requested. If you request a book not associated to an entity, it will not be displayed. If a book configuration is used to treat a management plan, you do not need to enter it in CTx_BOOK fields; the account mask is applied to the management entity code. |
Procedures
To add a book configuration:
1. In the Accounting Configurations window, select Books Configuration.
The system displays a screen to maintain Book Configurations.
2. Select Add.
The window Book Configuration File - Add is displayed.
3. Fill out data according to field help instructions.
4. Note the content of the following field:
- Managerial View (Managerial View).
The Managerial View code must be entered in this field. If a book where a Managerial View is entered during the issue of a report, the report will be printed following the view filters.
NOTE: Not all reports allow usage of Managerial View.
