Management Accounting environment has a resource to track an accounting entry, i.e., to check who originated it.

For example, from an accounting entry line, the inflow document (Purchase environment) that originated it can be viewed.

All relationships must be filled before any accounting entry is generated for this tracking mechanism to work.     If relationships are not filled, entries will not have the keys binding their Source and Target saved.


Procedures

Adding a Relationship:

1. In maintenance window of Relationship Register, select Add.

A screen for addition is displayed.

2. Fill in data according to instructions of field help.

3. Check information and confirm it.

Tip:

The Standard Entry is the link between operation and accounting entry.

If there is no specific configuration to track the operation, leave the field Execute Routine blank for the system to execute a standard routine for record view.
