Speaking of topics and questions ...
The topics and questions catalog is a collection of topics which store and organize questions by different subjects and areas of knowledge and are shown in a tree format in order to display an organized and user-friendly structure.
Questions of the evaluation. These questions may be: multiple choice, drop-down list, fill-in-the-blank, scale/value, correlation/multi-value, essay, and sorting.
Access permissions or restrictions are defined for each catalog item for specific users, user groups, disciplines or classes. Users can also define the inheritance of permissions or restrictions from parent items to child items.
Besides creating, editing and deleting catalog items, users with due permissions can also move them.
Users can also create question versions in order to ensure proper information traceability. Whenever questions must be edited, new versions can be created while maintaining the previous versions until all changes are completed. Upon completing changes, the new version can be released as the current and effective question version.
There are four different types of question versions:
• Editing: version still not released, which allows editing all question data;
• Current: released version available for use in evaluations;
• Previous: version previously used and which is now obsolete;
• Canceled: canceled version which is no longer available for use.
All question types can receive new versions. Only released versions can be used in evaluations.
