Speaking of registering...

This feature allows registering students in training courses/tracks or subject classes.

When completing registration requests, each status is displayed, if it was successfully completed or the reason why it was not.

It is possible to register several students or groups of students in various training courses, tracks or classes at once.

As a student is effectively registered in a track, they are automatically registered in all the training courses that make it up, except for the training courses that have requirements. In those training courses, the student will only be automatically registered if they meet all requirements. If they do not, they can request registration in the requirements manually, perform them, and then request registration in the training courses of the track that had those requirements.

If a training course is added to the track, all the students that have not finished it need to request registration in this new track item. When a training course is deleted from the track, it is no longer displayed as its item. However, the student remains registered in the training course and can perform it separately or cancel their registration (neither action will interfere in the completion or the grade for the track).

It is possible to view the cost (in credits) of registrations in the message displayed right after the request.

Register a user

01. In the main menu, place the mouse over Learning.

02. Click Registrations.

03. In the Register tab, click Category, below Selection of tracks/training courses/classes.

04. Select the category to which the item belongs.

05. Search and select the item in which to register the user, in the field next to the category. You can select more than one it from the same category or different categories. To do so, simply change the category and select the items of your choice in each of them. Delete selected items individually or click Delete all and start item selection again.

06. In the List of groups/users table, find the user to be registered in the selected items.

You can find the user that you want by using the Search field – located in the upper right corner of the table – or paging through users – arrows located in the lower right corner.

07. Click the Register icon, located to the right of the user name.

08. In the message informing the costs required for the registration, click Confirm.

09. View the status of the requested registration requests.

In the action report displayed after the confirmation, you can check the status of the requested registrations. You can view the number of requested registrations, the number of registrations successfully performed and the number of registrations not performed. If the registration is successfully performed, the registration is only accounted for as a successfully performed action. Otherwise, it is displayed on the list of actions not performed along with a description as to why it was not performed.

When the requested registration is for a class in which there are no available seats but there is a waiting list, the student is automatically added to the waiting list for this class. In this case, the registration is displayed in the actions performed with the note that the request has been added to the waiting list.

10. Click Close.
