The option Project enables projection of currency rates during a given period, generating the rates automatically.
The Management Accounting environment uses two different projection methods:
- Line regression
Projection is based on the behavior of values in a given range (number of previous days).
At least 2 prior values are required to process the linear regression.
- Projected inflation
It projects the inflation of the month entered, based on inflation rate estimated for the period.
Procedures
Projecting currencies:
In Exchange maintenance window, select option Project Currencies.
The screen for projection of currencies is displayed.
Select the type of projection: Line Regression or Projected Inflation.
Enter data for projection according to type selected.
Click OK to confirm the operation.

Replicate Data
Replicates data configured for other currencies' projection.
Invert Selection
Selects/cancels selection of currencies selected for projection.
Project Inflation
Displays the window Projected Inflation with data configured for currency selected (if type is Projected Inflation).
