As soon as a class enrollment is terminated or canceled, the first student of the waiting list is automatically enrolled. The same occurs when the number of open seats in the class is increased, the first students on the waiting list are automatically enrolled to fill all the new open seats. This procedure is performed by a default routine that runs periodically on the platform. For more information, see Process waiting list.

When there are students on the waiting list and a new class is opened for the same subject, students are notified and may choose to enroll in the new class or wait for the opening of a new seat in the class on whose waiting list they are.
