Speaking of folder...

Folders are used to organize for organizing the structure of learning catalogs of subjects and classes and trainings learning structure in the training and tracks catalog.It is possible to include new folders inside

Inside each folder, links, subjects - in the catalog of subjects and classes – and you can add new folders, links training courses and tracks - in the catalog of training and tracks

 

Basic Path

 

01. In the tab General information, enter the requested information.

Create new folder

01. After clicking NewFolder where to create the folder, enter the required information in the General information tab.

The requested information is:

Language
Language that will be assigned to the folder. To add a new language, simply press New and select the language that you wish to be linked to the folder.

Set as default language
When checked, it specifies that the selected language will be the default language of the folder.

Acronym
Acronym to be assigned to the folder.

Name
Identifying name Name of the folder.

02. Press  Click on the Security tab Security.

03. Define  Define whether the folder should inherit the permissions of from the parent folder.

Inherit permissions
When it is selected,

determines that

the permissions and restrictions assigned to the folder will be the same as the parent folder. Even when the folder inherits the permissions,

it is possible to set

04. Under permissions, press Add to set the access permissions to the folder, if desired.

It is possible to add more than one item. When you are finished, close the window to continue the inclusion of the folder.

To change the permissions of an item, select it and press Edit.

To remove permissions for an item, select it and press Remove.

09. Press Restrictions.

10. Press Add to include folder access restrictions, if desired.

To edit the permission on an added item, simply select the new option to be assigned to it in the Level column.

To delete an added item, simply click the Delete icon –locatedin the line corresponding to the item and to the right of the Level column.

08. In Restrictions, click Add if you want to define folder access restrictions.

09. In the pop-up window, find and select the user11. Enter the user name, user group, class or subject to which you wish to assign restrictions.

12. In the displayed list, select the user name, user group, class or discipline to which you wish to assign restrictions.

13. In the level table, select the option that determines the level of restriction that will be assigned to the selected item.

10. Click Add.

11. In the Level column – next to the entered item –select the option that establishes the restriction level to be assigned to it.

To edit the restriction on an entered item, simply select the new option to be assigned to it in the Level column.

To delete an added item, simply click the Delete icon –locatedin the line corresponding to the item and to the right of the Level column.

Copy folder

02. In the listing presented in the table on the right, select the folder to be deleted.

01. In the catalog, access the location where the folder is.

02. Click Delete, located to the right of the folder name.

03. In the pop-up window, click Yes to confirm the deletion of the folder; or No if you want to cancel the action.



Find folder item

Since this search is contextual, it only allows you to filter the items inside a folder. It does not include sub items, i.e. items inside its secondary folders.


01. In the catalog, go to the folder containing the item that you want to find.

02. Enter the item name in the Search field, in the upper right corner.
