Fluig 1.7.0 (Lake) can only be installed if the platform is updated to 1.6.5 (Liquid). If your environment has an older release, you must first update it to 1.6.5-200318 or higher, and then update it to 1.7.0.

Due to the Java update from version 8 to 11, some features and libraries have been discontinued or removed from this new version.
Please check whether your custom components (widgets, .ear, .war, .jar files) sent to the platform use some of these features; if so, make the necessary adjustments before updating it.

Developers using the Eclipse plugin must update to a version compatible with Java 11.

If the “domain.xml” and “host.xml” files are edited, it is important to confirm whether all changes were migrated to the new version; check all manual changes made to the files.

Updates were made to the following libraries: jQuery from version 222 to 3.5.0, Moment from version 2.9.0 to 2.24.0, and Bootstrap from version 3.3.6 to 3.4.1.
When updating, the customer will get both the new jQuery and the migration plugin in the same file. Here is the URL: /portal/resources/js/jquery/jquery.js
This release features a migration plugin called jquery-migrate and provided by jQuery, which, in addition to helping to restore the behaviors lost in the previous version, will make it easier to identify the points where the code update is required.

NOTE: We recommend using this plugin to make code adjustments as soon as possible, since it will be removed from Fluig’s installation in the next releases.

There are Linux environment variables used to set a limit to the number of open files and a maximum number of running processes. The default values in Linux for these variables are not ideal for the high performance of fluig Indexer (Solr), therefore we suggest adjusting the values according to the documentation Suggested settings in Linux environments.

Due to the Wildfly application server update from version 10 to version 18, the jboss.server.log.dir command in the domain.conf file has been discontinued. This command was used to change the server log folder path, so as a configuration alternative as of update 1.7.0, you can use a symbolic link to the log folder, as per the operating system you are using.

Fluig update 1.7 is not compatible with the MySQL 5.5 database. If this database is used, you must update the MySQL version before installing fluig.

The “certs” directory refers to the folder where certificates are saved. We recommend that this directory be created within the volume to prevent the folder from being affected by a technology upgrade or migration. For more details, see the Fluig HTTPS Configuration documentation.

As of this release, the use of Session Replication in distributed environments is discontinued.
If you have this setting applied in your environment, turn on the Session Affinity setting again before updating.
