Purpose

The LEDES 1998BI electronic invoicing format is based on LEDES 1998B, though with additional information required for invoicing between countries.

It is an ASCII formatted file, with 52 fields separated by pipe (|).

 

    The fields marked with (*) are required.

    Fill out the data in accordance with the instructions in Main Fields.

    1. In Ebilling Ledes1998b, find the LEDES1998b file creation screen.
    2. To confirm the file export, click Confirm . To exit, click Close.

    Main Fields

    File Name

    Enter a name for the file.

    Enter the path

    To enter the file path, use the option next to the field marked with ...

    International (1998BI)?

    		Enter "Yes" to create the file with fields from the international model (1998BI).
    Bookk.Code

    Click F3 or the magnifying glass next to field to use default query.

    Invoicing

    Click F3 or the magnifying glass next to field to use default query.

    e-Billing Currency

    Click F3 or the magnifying glass next to field to use default query.
