01. OVERVIEW

This document is intended to clarify the blocking functionality by process in relation to the fixed asset registration, and its relationship with the acquisition date field.

Scenario Presented in the Support Request:

When blocking by process the system is preventing the change of the asset registration
        Ex:
CTBA010 - blocking executed month 08 for the asset
Base date August/01/2016 -When editing the asset whose "acquisition date" is in month 08, the system displays the message "CTBBLOQ "

Base date August/01/2016 - However if the "acquisition date of the asset" is different from the month of the block, the system allows you to edit it

Answer of Support by the Development - Controllership:

The concept used in fixed assets is the same as in accounting, for example if I block the accounting calendar for August, I can no longer edit the entries for the month August.

The same goes for the fixed assets because in case of date, the acquisition date is the one to consider for this evaluation.

Aligned with Support to inform the concept to the Customer, and explain that if the acquisition date field (N1_AQUISIC) was not considered, the entire asset registration would be blocked.

The customer would like all assets added before Augusst to be blocked, so we aligned that all previous months of the calendar must be blocked, as it was created in a monthly basis.

We emphasize that we will NOT change the concept of the routine, so we are preparing this documentation to clarify all the blocking concepts by process with reference to the asset registration.
