Product Category vs. Products (FATA150 - SIGAFAT)

This routine creates the links between categories and products or group of products, building a classification according to a common feature. These resources implement the concept to deal with sales by product line, providing a greater scope and the control of products classified by categories.

It is possible to create sales forecast by category. Thus, the responsible for the forecast can properly work by category, which makes the task easier, mostly for companies where each employee is responsible for different categories or product lines.

Observe that is required to choose the relationship including each product item or group of products; in this case, the system considers internally all products filed with the indication of the group.

Price Disclosure

The relationship between Category x Product Linking and Price Disclosure considers the following parameters:

• MV_LJCATGP: activates an extra Product Group of a Category in the structure.
• MV_LJCATRG: activates an extra Grid Ref. of a Category in the structure.

Procedures

To link a category to a product or group:

1. In Linking Category x Product, select Add.

The system displays the add screen.

2. Select category which items of products or groups will be linked.

3. In the items are, inform code of product or group according to structure to be created: by group or by product.

4. Type [Arrow down] to add items.

5. Check and confirm the data.

6. After confirmation, go back to Product Category to view the category tree with products or groups.
