This option is used to calculate variation in values of the hard currency referring to the different conversion criteria used in a chart of accounts, generating the adjustment accounting entries in conversion of currencies.
The routine Adjustments in Currency Conversion complies with the principles of USGAAP and IAS, considering that not all accounts of same accounting group use the same conversion criterion. In these cases, conversion of values end up different by the end of the month. For this, the program calculates this difference and makes the respective accounting entry.
Procedures
Making adjustments in currency conversion:
1. While accessing the routine Adjustments in Conversion of Currencies, the window Parameters is displayed, with parameters involved in the routine.
2. Configure them according to instructions of field help.
3. Click OK to continue.
The window Adjustments in Currency Conversion is displayed, with the summarized description of the routine.
4. If you want to see the window with parameters again, click Parameters.
A screen is displayed with specific parameters of the routine.
5. Click OK to perform the processing.
The system then starts generating accounting entries for adjustments during currency conversion.
