Speaking of SAML RSA 2048 certificate...

SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is an open-standard, XML-based secure authentication mechanism for the exchange of authentication and access authorization data between an Identity Provider (IDP), which attests to and certifies the identity of users, and a Service Provider (SP). When it comes to security, the RSA 2048 certificate stands out for the level of security of its encryption, relying on a 2048-bit key.

Identity supports SAML 2.0-based Single Sign On (SSO) and authentication can be initiated by both the SP and the IDP.

For security reasons, an expiration date is assigned to the certificate. The current duration of the certificate is 10 years from the date the context was created. At the end of this period, it needs to be renewed and updated in SSO applications.
