Causa
In product Datasul_EMS5 with datasever Oracle, during conversion of product of release 5.05 for 5.06 there is occurrence of Progress errors for table of Basic and EDU modules.
Solução
Symptom:   ·          In product Datasul_EMS5 during the process of product conversion of release 5.05 to 5.06 Progress error “Incompatible data types in expression or assignment (223)” occurs for table of Basic module. Environment:   ·          Only product Datasul_EMS5 with dataserver Oracle. Cause:Tables ped_exec_param, ped_exec_param_aux and tab_livre_edi have attributes with the RAW data type and in environments with dataserver Oracle it is replaced in schema holder with the Character data type; however the program of table conversion is not doing the data type conversion properly. Solution:Work Order: 10973 (release expected from 06/20/09)Activity: 222017Basic Module and EDUProcedures: Conversion Product 5.05 to 5.06Objects: upgrade\up505-506\cv5-6bas110.i, upgrade\up505-506\cv5-6bas110p, upgrade\up505-506\cv5-6bas219.i, upgrade\up505-506\cv5-6bas219p, upgrade\up505-506\cv5-6bas062.i and upgrade\up505-506\cv5-6bas062.p.Solution: Programs modified so that when environment with dataserver Oracle, execute conversion of RAW data type properly to Character.  Reference:    Additional information about the conversion process can be located in the EMS Conversion Guide existing in the media of product Datasul_EMS5.   

On the Release Notes file that follows the product update package  are the references as of the number of the Work Order (OS short that is in the header of first page) and the Activity number (right below description of the function which refers to maintenance).
