There are two types of operation to cancel write-offs:
By canceling a write-off made, accounting entries and bank balance are reversed.
The cancellation generates a bank transaction reversal record so that the bank statement can show the history of effected operations on a future date.
In this operation, the system allows entry of a history and identification of the returned check. In this case, the Query Customer Status, option Pending Bills, shall highlight historical information Bill with Return Check.
By deleting a write-off made, accounting entries and bank balance are reversed.
The deletion erases the write-off record earlier made without generating a reversal record. Reversal of write-off is not displayed in the statement; only the pending bill is.
Important: You cannot edit or query in the field Bank Code, the check, if the write-off bill is canceled. |
