Introduction

The media developed to install TOTVS Fluig Platform is very easy and fast. This media includes the application server used for running the system and the document server that is used by the product’s internal viewer.

Some installation steps allow you to configure the application server, making installation easier.

 

Installation Packages

There are two types of installation packages, each related to a different type of operating system.

See the available packages below:

Description

Fluig-Win64.zip Use in Windows 64-bit operating systems.
Fluig-Linux64.zip Use in Linux 64-bit operating systems.

 

After checking the proper installation package for the server, you can start installation through the following files:

  • Fluig-Installer-64.exe - For Windows operating system.
  • Fluig-Installer-64.sh - For Linux operating system.

You must run installation as administrator.

 

For Linux operating systems, you need to provide execution permission in the "java" file, in directory "jrelinux-64/bin", and in file Fluig-Installer-64.sh, in order to start the installation.

Also, in order to perform the installation, you need to have the Linux GUI.


Installation or Update

After you run the media installer, you can choose to: Install or Update.


The  Install option will perform installation from scratch, updating all the required files.

However, the Update option is used to update packages when released in the Customer Portal.

When you choose to update an existing Fluig installation, you must stop all Fluig services before starting the update.

Three services need to be stopped:

  • Fluig;
  • fluig-RealTime;
  • fluig-MenCached.

Also, you must run update as administrator.
