Operation and configuration of search on the Sales Orders screen (MATA410)

Occurrence:

When performing a search in the Sales Order browser, the system filters the records according to the data entered; however, if you perform any actions in the routine (Edit, View, Add, or Delete) the filter is undone.

Step by step:

The behavior of removing the filters after an action (Edit, View, Add, or Delete) is the default of the other Protheus routines. This change has become necessary to ensure the integrity of system data.
But you can create a filter by expression to get the same result.

Access the Sales Order routine (MATA410) and click the Filter option:


Select the Create Filter option:


Enter the desired Field and Operator, select the Enter filter data during execution option, click Add and confirm the operation:


Save the created filter:


When selecting the filter, enter the content you want to search:


The filter will be applied regardless of the operation performed by the user. To remove the Browser filter, just click the Remove option:
