About Thumbnails

Thumbnails are scaled-down versions of documents, images, or videos that are displayed to make the process of viewing or recognizing content easier.

Objective

The objective of this guide is to enable the generation of thumbnails in TOTVS Fluig Platform using FFmpeg.

FFmpeg must be installed in the server so that TOTVS Fluig Platform can generate thumbnails.

TOTVS Fluig Platform requires version 2.1 stable to correctly generate the thumbnails, compiled with the following dependences:

TOTVS Fluig Platform generates thumbnails for some types of images and videos in document and gallery views.

The path for the FFmpeg executable must be configured at Control Panel > WCM > Thumbnail Configuration

Enter the full path for the FFmpeg executable previously installed:

Linux Server: <ffmpeg>/bin/ffmpeg .

Windows Server: <ffmpeg>/bin/ffmpeg.exe .

The generation of thumbnails is enabled by company at Control Panel > WCM > Companies

Select the desired company, click on Edit, and then select the option Enable thumbnail generation
