01. OVERVIEW

The system was sluggish when booking average cost (MATA331). To correct this situation, we enabled the booking procedure that already existed in the average cost recalculation routine (MATA330) in average cost booking (MATA331).

Moreover, we made the following changes to the process:

    • Addition of a specific parameter (MV_M33UPRC) for stock routines (MATA330 and MATA331) that enables the booking procedure.
    • Handling to fix parameters MV_ALTLCTO = 'N' and MV_PRELAN = 'D' when parameter MV_M33UPRC is enabled.

These changes ensure the procedure is activated only for average cost booking routines (MATA330 and MATA331), without affecting the handling of other booking routines.

This process is ratified and available only for Oracle and SQL databases.

Once you activate the procedure, you will not be able to edit/correct accounting entry divergences onscreen. When there are batch divergences, the system saves pre-entries to table "Accounting Entries - CT2" with balance type 9 and you must activate these entries through routine Activation (Miscellanea/Processing/Activation (CTBA350)).

02. EXAMPLE OF USE

Through configurator, create parameter MV_M33UPRC in accordance with item 03 below:

To activate this feature, create parameter MV_M33UPRC via configurator with content .T. .

To activate this feature, create parameter MV_M33UPRC via configurator with content .T. , that is, it will not be automatically configured this way; because, as we have mentioned above, upon activating the user you can no longer edit the entries on the booking screen generated in average cost routine, as well as if some entry information is not compliant, it is generated as pre-entry (balance type 9).
