Speaking of dataset synchronization...
The purpose of dataset synchronization is to reduce the number of accesses to data services provided by products external to the platform. It is very common to import data from external systems to complement form information in a process or carry out validations in events based on the information returned by this dataset.
On the Datasets screen, after finding the dataset for which synchronization will be configured, access the synchronization screen by clicking the link in the Synchronization column. This feature is not available for internal datasets.
Synchronize dataset data
01. To enable synchronization, select ON.
02. Click Synchronize now.
When clicking this option, the dataset data written on the platform are synchronized with the corresponding data from the external system.
It is only possible to enable data synchronization for datasets developed on the platform. When enabling synchronization, it is carried out according to the schedule created in Task Scheduler.
View details of last synchronization
01. To enable synchronization, select ON.
02. Click the More details button below the Last synchronization button.
This will show details regarding all activities performed, including the number of commands executed to add, update and delete data.
Edit synchronization scheduling
01. To enable synchronization, select ON.
02. Click Edit scheduling.
03. In the Schedule Settings window, change the information of your choosing.
For additional information on the fields, see Task Scheduler.
04. Click Confirm.
After configuring the scheduling, the scheduled synchronization task will appear in the Task Scheduler screen.
Delete data
01. To enable synchronization, select ON.
02. Click Delete data.
03. In the pop-up message, click Delete.
When clicking this option, all data contained in the dataset is deleted.
