The Chart of Accounts file is one of the principal files in the Management Accounting environment. It allows to register all the Ledger Accounts used for reporting tax and management information.
Important: In the screen lower area, there are eight fields divided into two columns related to additional information. The four firsts fields (Accept activity?) establishes if the entity will use all additional information and the other four fields (Compulsory Activity?), establish compulsory activities. Data can be configured as compulsory or optional. If Yes is chosen for compulsoriness, the system requires an additional activity. Additional activities are filled out in the Entries routine. |
Procedures
Adding a ledger account:
1. In Chart of Accounts, press [F12] to configure the parameters involved in the routine.
2. Configure them according to the field help instructions.
3. Note the parameter: Tree-structure register
4. Then, select Add.
A screen for adding an account is displayed.
5. Fill out data according to field help instructions.

Abbreviated Code
The two items below apply to Bolivia only:
These fields are used to calculate monetary variation in hard currency, dollar (US$) and UFV (Federal Value Unit). Thus legal tender (Bolivianos - BS) or dollar can be used as hard currency.
7. Note that, in the page footer, there are fields to inform the referential chart of accounts used for compliance with international accounting standards IAS and IFRS.
