Speaking of following documents...

This feature allows you to follow documents that are posted in the document browsing structure, and to receive notifications whenever the documents are modified.

Remember that there are several types of documents, such as an extension file supported by the platform, an article, an external document, and others. Document types Form and folders cannot be followed.

 

Basic path

 

01. After finding the document that you wish to follow, click on the Notify, icon, located in the social actions area to the right of the document name.

When clicking on Notify, represented by the colorless button, a user is added to the total number of users following the respective document; the icon becomes colored, indicating that the feature is enabled. Whenever the document is modified, a notification detailing such modifications is sent to all users following the document.

 

Alternative path

 

Stop following a document

 

01. Find the document that you no longer wish to follow.

02. Click on Stop notifying, located in the social actions area to the right of the document name.

When clicking on Stop notifying, represented by the colored icon, a user is removed from the total number of users following the respective document; the icon is displayed without any color, indicating that the feature was disabled. The user will no longer receive notifications whenever the document is modified.

 

Display users following a document

 

01. Find the document for which you wish to view the users following it.

02. Click on the number displayed over the Notify icon, located in the social actions area to the right of the document name.

Clicking on this option opens the window People notified, in which you can view the list of users following the document.
