Procedure to delete companies

Step by step:

To delete a company from the system, follow the steps below. To delete a Company Group of Companies, first you have to remove their dependencies, that is, the branch (if it is a Company/Branch model) or the Branch, Business and Companies Unit (if it is a Business Management model). The Company/Branch model is used in the example below:

- Access Configurator > Environment > Companies > Branch.


- Click on each branch of the Company Group to be deleted, then click Other Actions and Delete.


- A window asks you to confirm the operation. Click Confirm.


- Repeat this process for each branch, until only the Company Group remains.

- Access Environment > Companies > Company Group.


- Click on the Company Group to be deleted, then click Other Actions and Delete.


- A window asks you to confirm the operation. Click Confirm.



- A message confirms the record was deleted.



Warning:

- After this operation, the Company Group and its branches will no longer be available for access by the users, nor by the Admin and the Configurator.
- The dictionary files of this Company Group (SXs, XXs) will remain in the System folder, they will not be erased. If you need this data to be deleted too, do this manually by the operating system. We recommend a data backup.
- The database tables (Products, Customers, etc.) will not be deleted automatically either. If you need to delete this data, do this manually by the Database. We recommend a table backup.
