Deletion of Specifications
The specification of product or product group cannot be deleted if it is linked to transactions pending in the module.
As the file that stores information about production specification is also used by Production Planning and Control Environment, specially in Operation Script, some procedures must be observed when these records are deleted.
Procedures
Deleting Specifications:
| 1. | In the menu of Specifications of Products or Group, place the cursor on the product or group you want and select Delete. |
A screen is displayed to view specification in order to confirm data.
| 2. | After checking data, confirm deletion. |
A screen is displayed with parameters of scripts concerning the selected specification of product or group. Fill out them according to field help instructions.
| 3. | After entering scripts, confirm deletion. |
Thus, only records concerning Process Inspection module are deleted. They are:
| • | QQH - Sampling Plan associated with the Test |
| • | QQK - Operations |
| • | QQ1 - Instrument Family associated with the Test |
| • | QQ2 - Traceability associated with the Test |
| • | QP6 - Product Specifications |
| • | QP7 - Measurable Tests |
| • | QP8 - Text Tests |
| • | QP9 - Non-conformances associated with the Test |
