Location Register

This register's purpose is to indicate and control where the assets are located. It is used in the process of writing off and transferring Fixed Assets through Workflow.

Requirements

The parameter admin-IN-316fd0ae-5f3c-4db9-ac26-cbdf4ff8a7d1-1507579308097-8a373667-4068-482d-ab9b-fcd4f7554105 must have been activated.

Procedures

Registering a new location:

1. In Registers, access the Location option.

The system displays the screen containing registered locations.

2. Click Add.
3. Fill out fields according to field help instructions.
4. Check data and Confirm them.

To control assets according to their location, enter the local code of the asset associated with Location Register (SNL) in the Address field.

Through the Lock field, you can define if the asset associated with a certain Location is locked.

Only a transfer to a Location with the Lock field equal to 2=No can unlock the asset for depreciations and write-offs

If the asset is with Asset Status field equal to 3=Locked by Transfer, operations of depreciation calculation, write-off, extension, acquisition by transfer, accelerated depreciation are not allowed.
