Sizing for production environment

Minimum sizing required for a dedicated server: 

RAM Memory For up to 100 current users

16 GB

All 16 GB of memory are dedicated to Fluig, as detailed below:

  • Java (13 GB) – Configuration in $FLUIG_INSTALL/jboss/bin/standalone.conf (Linux) or standalone.conf.bat (Windows)

- Xms=4g - Initial memory size allocated
- Xmx=12g - Maximum memory size allocated
- XX:MaxPermSize=1g

  • Operating system (3 GB)
Processor Bits 64 Bits
Core Minimum of 2 cores
Disk Speed Minimum of 10000 RPM
SAN Network Transfer Rate Minimum of 1 GB/s
Available space required for the installation 12 GB
Available space required for repository (No. of documents * Document size * No. of versions) * 1.10
Available space required for cache directory

(No. of documents accessed during the day * File size * 6)

NOTE: The cache expires and is deleted after 24 hours of access.

The document viewer is not covered in this sizing process. To size an environment with the document viewer, use the Fluig Sizing Form as per the following instructions.

This sizing suggestion is valid and applicable only to Fluig in dedicated servers. Other products ({i>e.g.<i} ESB and Identity) must have their own server.

 

For high availability or mission critical environments, the Fluig product team must be contacted.

For such, the Fluig Sizing Form must be completed and sent to [email protected].
ATTENTION: after the delivery of the form, the Fluig team will send a sizing suggestion within 48 hours (new requests or revisions).

For client acceptance test environments, at least 8 GB of RAM are required. All other settings remain the same.
