Speaking of widget permission options...
Permission options available for widgets are the same for each one of them and they are detailed as follows.
View widget
When enabled, allows you to view the widget on any page where it is available, provided that you also have permission to view the page.
By default this permission is enabled for all widgets. To hide a widget from a user, group, or role, simply disable this permission.
Add to page
When enabled, allows adding the widget to pages where the user has permission to modify them.
Change widget
When enabled, allows changing widget settings – for widgets that have their own settings – within the pages that the user has permission to modify.
