Negotiations of products or services purchase and sales, are usually based on payment terms.  They establish how and when the payments will be made, setting due dates, number and value of installments, discounts and increases.

Protheus enables composition of different payment terms considering three main fields: Code, Type and Payment Term. The term base is established by the field Type.

According to payment term, payment term, the system treats the content of the fields Code and Payment Term, which enables configuration of different payment terms, to be applied in suppliers and customers payment.

Tip:

To generate installments, the system uses the parameter MV_1DUP, which stores the number of the first installment to be generated.

For the system Contract Management the system considers the parameter MV_CNCOMCP to establish the number of competence days of the contract schedule. If this parameter is not configured, the system considers competence of 30 days (30 days per competence); And the parameter MV_CNVIGCP which enables to inform maximum effectiveness date for schedule installments, when the contract has indeterminate effectiveness. If this parameter is not configured the system considers as maximum effectiveness date: 12/31/49. Both parameters are only used if the periodicity type of schedule is Payment Term.

Important:

To use the loyalty campaign it is necessary to register a payment term. Thus, customers receive points according to the rules established by the system administrator.
