In this area, fields containing double entries of the apportionments are entered, such as ledger account, cost center, account item, value class and apportionment percentages.
Registers of apportionment groups effectively define rows of off-line apportionment entries.
Through the combination of destination-type register, for each accounting entity, the amount of detail rows, accounting entities used and their respective apportionments percentage can be defined.
Intercompany is a field for control of detail rows of off-line apportionment register in which you define whether entry rows generated by the apportionment execution shall have the entry export mark for the processing of routine InterCompany.
Combination of apportionment groups of same type
Combination of entities - An entity matrix is generated from the combination of apportionment groups of same type. Its structure is the Cartesian product of the combination of individual entities of each group.
Example:
Registration of the first apportionment group:
Group | 000001 |
Entity | Ledger Account |
Row 001 | CTA0001 |
Row 002 | CTA0002 |
Row 003 | CTA0003 |
Registration of the second apportionment group:
Group | 000002 |
Entity | Cost center |
Row 001 | CDC0001 |
Row 002 | CDC0002 |
Row 003 | CDC0003 |
Combination of entities of both apportionment registers:
Line | Ledger Account | Cost center |
001 | CTA0001 | CDC0001 |
002 | CTA0001 | CDC0002 |
003 | CTA0001 | CDC0003 |
004 | CTA0002 | CDC0001 |
005 | CTA0002 | CDC0002 |
006 | CTA0002 | CDC0003 |
007 | CTA0003 | CDC0001 |
008 | CTA0003 | CDC0002 |
009 | CTA0003 | CDC0003 |
Nine (9) rows of combination of entities of both apportionment groups are generated, considering the following:
Combination of percentages
They apply only to destination apportionment groups, since the percentage of this group type is used to define percentage of each detail row of the generated off-line apportionment register.
In this procedure, the following concepts are used:
“Smallest entity” refers to that of the lowest hierarchical level considering that:
Level 01 | Ledger Account |
Level 02 | Cost center |
Level 03 | Accounting Item |
Level 04 | Value class |
Example 01:
Registration of the first apportionment group:
Group | 000001 | |
Entity | Ledger Account | Percentage |
Row 001: | CTA0001 | 50% |
Row 002: | CTA0002 | 50% |
Registration of the second apportionment group:
Group | 000002 | |
Entity | Cost Center | Percentage |
Row 001: | CDC0001 | 25% |
Row 002: | CDC0002 | 25% |
Row 003: | CDC0003 | 25% |
Row 004: | CDC0004 | 25% |
Combination of entities of both apportionment registers:
Line | Ledger Account | Percentage Register | Cost Center | Percentage Register | Converted factor | Percentage Apportionment |
001 | CTA0001 | 50% | CDC0001 | 25% | 1 | 12.5% |
002 | CTA0001 | 50% | CDC0002 | 25% | 1 | 12.5% |

005 | CTA0002 | 50% | CDC0001 | 25% | 1 | 12.5% |
006 | CTA0002 | 50% | CDC0002 | 25% | 1 | 12.5% |
007 | CTA0002 | 50% | CDC0003 | 25% | 1 | 12.5% |
008 | CTA0002 | 50% | CDC0004 | 25% | 1 | 12.5% |
Rows of the register | 04 | 08 | 100% |
Example 02:
Registration of the first apportionment group:
Group | 000001 | |
Entity | Ledger Account | Percentage |
Row 001: | CTA0001 | 50% |
Row 002: | CTA0002 | 50% |
Registration of the second apportionment group:

Combination of entities of both apportionment registers:
Line | Ledger Account | Percentage Register | Cost Center | Percentage Register | Converted factor | Percentage Apportionment |
001 | CTA0001 | 50% | CDC0001 | 10% | 0.4 | 05% |
002 | CTA0001 | 50% | CDC0002 | 20% | 0.8 | 10% |
003 | CTA0001 | 50% | CDC0003 | 30% | 1.2 | 15% |

005 | CTA0002 | 50% | CDC0001 | 10% | 0.4 | 05% |
006 | CTA0002 | 50% | CDC0002 | 20% | 0.8 | 10% |
007 | CTA0002 | 50% | CDC0003 | 30% | 1.2 | 15% |
008 | CTA0002 | 50% | CDC0004 | 40% | 1.6 | 20% |
Rows of the register | 04 | 08 | 100% |
Combination between factors:
The combination of factors is applied only to destination-type apportionment groups, because the factor of this group type is used to define the factor of each detail row of the off-line apportionment register generated.
This procedure is followed according to the concept:
Detail rows of the apportionment are generated with factors of the smallest entity combined between destination apportionment groups used.
“Smallest entity” refers to that of the lowest hierarchical level considering that:
Level 01 | Ledger Account |
Level 02 | Cost center |
Level 03 | Accounting Item |
Level 04 | Value class |
Example 01:
Registration of the first apportionment group:
Group | 000001 | |
Entity | Ledger Account | Factor |
Row 001: | CTA0001 | 1 |
Row 002: | CTA0002 | 1 |
Registration of the second apportionment group:
Group | 000002 | |
Entity | Cost Center | Factor |
Row 001: | CDC0001 | 0.4 |
Row 002: | CDC0002 | 0.8 |
Row 003: | CDC0003 | 1.2 |
Row 004: | CDC0004 | 1.6 |
Combination of entities of both apportionment registers:
Line | Ledger Account | Factor Register | Cost Center | Factor Register | Factor Apportionment | Percentage Apportionment |
001 | CTA0001 | 1 | CDC0001 | 0.4 | 0.4 | 05% |

Combination of origin and destination apportionment groups
The combination of origin and destination apportionment groups is made to generate off-line apportionment registers through the combination of Cartesian products of each group, individually.
Therefore, an apportionment group can be created for each accounting entity (no matter if it is a destination or an origin group).
Example:
Step 01: Creation of group registers
Origin apportionment group– Ledger Account
Group | 000001 |
Entity | Ledger Account |
Row 001: | CTO0001 |
