A contingency model will be available for Revenue Departments and for Brazil Federal Revenue Department (RFB), which will become the NF-e authorizer, in a contingency manner, until the regularity of the operational environment. If taxpayer operational environment is unavailable, Invoices of 1/1A model can be emitted to replace, momentarily, the NF-e until connection is reestablished and NF-e files can be sent.

This process involves complexity and behavior change during tests and pilot evaluation, thus, the work group composed by States, Brazil Federal Revenue, Suframa and companies can change and redefine actions to improve the system.
