This routine customizes accesses and permissions that a cash register operator must have, containing all individual features. Therefore, you can configure permission to give discounts in the transaction total price, to monitor database errors or problems that may to occur due to system failure, EFT, cash register opening and closing, among other controls.

To configure a cash register operator, a user must be created in Passwords.

After creating a user, a Configuration Wizard screen is automatically displayed to configure the cash register operator. To learn more about this, refer to Registering User Passwords in Passwords.

This configuration wizard automatically accesses Cash Register Operator to make the configuration, after registering user password. Thus, you do not have to manually access this routine.

Sale by Exception

In Assisted Sales and Point of Sales, this routine enables user to perform a Manual Sale, if an unforeseen event occurs and system goes down. For that, a specific numbering of Invoices is required, as well as the configuration of the user in Manual Sales

Direct Transaction with EFT and transaction printed in invoice

Customers that have Invoicing environment with Direct Sale in menu, generate invoice after finishing a sales transaction. After selecting Credit Card  or Debit Card, you must perform the EFT operation as configured in Station.

If you cannot use a printer to print the EFT voucher, EFT data must be printed in the invoice.

Routines involved in this process are: Cash Summary, Wizard for Cash Register Opening, Wizard for Cash Register Closing, Password Configuration and Cash Register.

Procedures

To configure a cash register operator:

1. In Cash Register Operator, select a cash register operator and click Change.

The Configuration of Cash Register Operator window is displayed.

2. In top area called Cash Register Operator, the code and name of cash register operator selected are displayed.

3. In central area, the following folders are shown:

- Profile

- Permission

- Validation

4. Fill out data of folders according to your needs and confirm the cash register operator configuration.
