Management view register with variable balance type
The System allows registering a management view without binding detailed entities to a specific type of balance.
Tip: In order to use the management view register with variable balance type, you must register detailed entities of management views with the content "*" (asterisk) in the column Balance Type of detail lines of such entities. |
A well structured chart of accounts can be flexible enough for information to be retrieved in different ways. However, this information can seldom be summarized and displayed in a mode different from that in which it was registered in the chart of accounts.
The Managerial View gives the chart of accounts the flexibility it lacks and allows the same information to be displayed in different ways. Each Managerial View corresponds to a different analysis of data available in Accounting.
The Managerial View is not limited to the chart of accounts; all its flexibility is also valid for the chart of cost centers , accounting item and value class.

Accessing the parameters using F12 key
To help adding management views, select the view and click F12 to:
1. Generate entity code:
2. Add formula to generate the entity code
3. Format entity code with or without leading zeroes.
4. Select in field View mode the way information is displayed:
5. Configure the add screen header fields in F12 formula.
6. Reorganize the fields order.

Procedures
To add a managerial view:
1. In the Managerial View maintenance window, click Add.
The screen for addition of the managerial view is displayed.
2. Fill out data according to field help instructions.
3. Pay attention while filling the following fields:
Upper Screen (Header):
Important: the first record must be filled with 0000000001.
Tip: To bind a Management Entity to a Superior Entity, click Search or F3 to enable entities registration. Select an entity and confirm it. |
