Knowledge inserted in the base can be linked to one or more system entities like Customers, Carriers, Products, etc.
To describe this routine, take the Customers Register as the example. To link knowledge to other Protheus entities, the user must proceed in the same manner.

Procedures
To link a knowledge:

1. For example, in Customers, place the pointer on the client who will receive the knowledge base.
The Knowledge window is displayed for inclusion, with the identification of the entity and the client.
2. Double-click the Object field and select a file from the knowledge base that you wish to link and confirm.
The file's name and description is displayed.
3. Check the data and confirm the knowledge base link to the customers file.
4. Some files can be viewed. To see them, click Preview.
The file is displayed in the right side of the window. If the file does not allow the viewing of its contents, then when this option is clicked, the system displays only the icon and name of the file on the right side of the screen.
5. To enlarge the viewing area, click Size.
6. The Open option allows the file to be opened in its original application.
To do so, it is necessary for the application to be installed.
