In this document, we describe the difference in how to use fields CTS_IDENT and CVF_IDENT, the main ways to use them and their usefulness in report functions that use Managerial Views.
Management View Register.
In the Managerial Views register, the field CVF_IDENT displayed on the top register screen refers to the summarized account, being up to the user whether it is a Grand Total, whether printed with Bold characters, whether to use Underlining or a blank Line. These settings apply only to summarized accounts; thus, at the end of register processing, field CTS_IDENT is saved based on this field for this account type.
Regarding detailed accounts, field CTS_IDENT is used as an Identifier of whether the Account is used as an account for adding balances or for deducting balances. Thus, the processes indicated in field CVF_IDENT are not applied to it and the use of field CTS_IDENT remains as set in its register.
Field CTS_IDENTI is virtual; therefore, it is used only for viewing content, not for processing Accounting Reports of any kind.
