SmartSync is an application responsible for synchronizing data between Identity and Active Directory. The synchronized data includes creating new users and changing data such as first name, last name, e-mail, and linked groups.

Follow these steps to install SmartSync:

03. Clique com o botão direito do mouse sobre o instalador do SmartSync e selecione a opção Executar como administrador ou Instalar (dependendo da versão do sistema operacional).

Configuração inicial do SmartSync
Para realizar essa ação, é necessário que o SmartSync tenha sido instalado e executado no servidor.

01. Access the Windows prompt (cmd) and enter the following command to install the Windows service.

If the data is correct, after the configuration is complete, the main SmartSync screen will be displayed with the configured AD information. If the data is incorrect, an error message will be displayed, and a new token must be generated to attempt configuration again. |

Trocar porta do SmartSync
Para realizar essa ação, é necessário que o SmartSync esteja parado e fechado. A alteração de porta pode ser feita a qualquer momento.
1. Abra o arquivo appsettings.json com o auxílio de um editor de texto. Pode ser aberto no bloco de notas do Windows.
2. Localize o campo Url e altere a porta. A porta padrão é a 5325. Veja a imagem
Acessar o SmartSync
Para que seja possível o acesso, é necessário que os serviços SmartsyncApplication e SmartsyncWebApi tenham sido previamente inicializados. Ao abrir as aplicações, o navegador será iniciado, abrindo a página inicial do SmartSync que fica em http://localhost:5000/home.

Conexão com o Identity
Nessa seção você preenche o ambiente a ser conectado com o AD, por padrão é o ambiente de produção: https://app.fluigidentity.com/.
Editar ambiente: Realize alteração de protocolo e ambiente nos campos abaixo para testar conexão com Identity.
Testar conexão: Confira se a conexão foi estabelecida para cada ambiente em que o AD cadastrado aponta.
Configurações de proxy
As configurações de proxy ainda não estão disponíveis na versão atual do SmartSync.
Na configuração padrão do sistema, o SmartSync utiliza as configurações de proxy definidas no sistema operacional para conectar-se ao AD Sync.

Logs de eventos
Apresenta os logs registrados pelo SmartsyncWebApi e SmartsyncApplication. É possível exportar esse log no formato .txt, para ver o detalhamento dos eventos detectados. Entre os eventos registrados, estão: data e início da aplicação, ambiente conectado, testes de conexão, filtros usados para encontrar usuários e grupos, erros na inclusão de diretórios Active Directory.
01. Na seção Logs de eventos, escolha o log desejado: SmartsyncWebApi ou SmartsyncApplication.
02. Verifique o período que deseja acompanhar.
03. Clique em Exportar.
04. Localize o log a ser exportado.

The Home tab presents the main information about SmartSync.
Connecting to Identity
In this section, you will enter the environment to be connected to AD. The default setting is the production environment: https://app.fluigidentity.com/.
Edit environment: Make protocol and environment changes in the fields below to test the connection to Identity.
Test connection: Check whether the connection was established for each environment where the registered AD points.
Proxy settings
Proxy settings are not yet available in the current version of SmartSync.
In the default system configuration, SmartSync uses the proxy settings defined in the operating system to connect to AD Sync.
Event logs
Displays the logs recorded by SmartsyncWebApi and SmartsyncApplication. You can export this log in .txt format to see the details of the detected events.
Logs are stored according to the log level chosen:
- Info: shows expected messages for regular use of SmartSync, as well as debug, warning and error messages.
- Debug: shows debug messages that are only useful during development, as well as warning and error messages.
- Warning: shows possible problems that are not yet errors, as well as error messages.
- Error: shows problems that caused errors in SmartSync.
Events that are logged include application date and start, connected environment, connection tests, filters used to find users and groups, and Active Directory inclusion errors.

01. In the Event Logs section, choose the desired log: SmartsyncWebApi or SmartsyncApplication.
02. Check the period you wish to track.
03. Click Export.
04. Locate the log to be exported.
05. Click Export.

Active Directory
Nessa aba é realizada a inclusão dos diretórios do Active Directory que serão gerenciados pelo SmartSync.

On this tab, you can add the Active Directory directories that will be managed by SmartSync.
The Identity Status column identifies when the directory is active, enabling the import of users and permission groups
- Disconnected: When an Active Directory is inactive, it does not synchronize.
- Connected: When an Active Directory is active and synchronizing.
You can also see when a user/group import is in progress and when it is finished in each Active Directory.
- → Synchronizing: Importing of users and groups is still in progress.
- → Synchronized: Importing of users and groups has finished.
Add Active Directory

01. In SmartSync, make sure you are in the Active Directory tab.
02. Click the Add button.
03. In the open screen, fill in the information related to the Active Directory to be synchronized with
- → Desconectado: Quando um Active Directory está inativo não realiza a sincronização.

Também é possível observar quando uma importação de usuários/grupos está em andamento e quando for finalizada, em cada Active Directory.

Adicionar Active Directory
01. No SmartSync, certifique-se de estar na aba Active Directory.
02. Acione o botão Adicionar.
03. Na tela aberta, preencha as informações relacionadas ao Active Directory a ser sincronizado com o Identity.

Se todas as informações estiverem corretas, o Active Directory será adicionado na lista, e passará a sincronizar as informações com o Identity. Caso tenha alguma inconsistência nos dados informados, o Active Directory não será adicionado na lista. Para identificar o problema, verifique o log conforme o item Logs de eventos dessa documentação. |
