The routine of document release is used in the environment Purchase as well as in the Contract Management.
Document release is used to identify who is responsible for authorizing company expenses.
This transaction is available only to users that chose the competence control, defined through the Registers of Purchasers, Purchase Groups, Approvers, and Approval Groups.
The documents are displayed according to the routine parameterization, in the order that were approved by the Approval Group.
After confirming the release, the name of the approver user is registered in the document. This information is listed at the bottom of the document, as a space for signature with the respective name below.

Procedures
Releasing a document:
Select the types of documents that must be displayed: all, non-approved, or approved.
2. Confirm it.
A list of all the documents under the user competence will be displayed.
3. Place the cursor on the document to be released and select Release.
The window Document Release is displayed with document data, such as: the document number, issue date, supplier, approver, reference date (base date), minimum limit, maximum limit, total limit, type of limit (daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, etc.), balance on date, document total, balance available after the document release, field for notes, etc.
In this window, the following options are available:
4. Click Release Doc.to confirm the release.
