When we post an asset, the system calculates depreciation in proportion to the number of days, regardless of the posting date.
Example: we have the same asset of BRL 1,000.00 w/ 10% rt and we post it on the 10th of the month. The calculation will be: ( 10 / 1200 ) * ( 1000.00 ( + corr of asset)) / 30 * 10 = 2.77, so this is the depreciation value of the month, which corresponds to 10 days of use. If the posting is not total, do not change the values presented. The system does everything by itself, unless you post the asset by value, quantity or percentage. You can book the sale value through field SN4->N4_VENDA. If the posting is partial, the system generates another record, storing the values separately.
When we post an asset with more than one asset type. For example: 01-acquisition and 04- Statute 8200, the system asks whether it should post children and displays the type to be posted. In case of partial posting, the system also makes it partial for the children. In this example, the system keeps 4 records, 2 for type 01 and 2 for type 04. If the item is different for the same code, the posting will be independent.
We only use advance postings when adding an asset of type "03". For example: we use it when we are constructing a building that is not yet ready as a single asset, but we can control everything we purchase for it.
