Advanced Quality Planning
Product Quality Planning is a structured method which defines and establishes the procedures needed to ensure customer satisfaction regarding the product. Its aim is to make communications easier among all involved and to make sure all procedures are completed on schedule. Effective product quality planning depends on commitment from company top managers to attain customer satisfaction goals.
Some advantages of Product Quality Planning are:

| • | The prevention of late changes. |
| • | To offer a quality product, on schedule, with a lower price. |
The labor practices, tools and analytical techniques described on the APQP manual are placed in a logical order, so that they can be easily located. Each Product Quality Plan is unique. Time and current performance sequences depend on the needs and expectations and/or analytical techniques in the Product Quality Planning cycle, as described in Planning and Defining the Program.
