How to create users with the main settings for Protheus access

Step by step:

Basic setting:
Here are the minimal options for a initial basic setting:

- Access Configurator > User > Passwords > Users.

- Click Include.

- In the User tab, in User, log in to Protheus.

- Enter the user’s Full Name and Password.

- On the Access Restrictions tab, click Branches.

- If this user has access to all companies in the system, just tick the box All companies at the bottom of the page. If they have access to just a few companies/branches, click below the Company Group column, then on the magnifying glass, and select the Company Group the user will have access to. If you select only the Company Group, the user will have access to all Companies/Business Units/Branches below it. If you want, you can select the company/business unit/branch by clicking below each column and using the magnifying glass, according to the previous example. If you want to add new rows to set up other companies, press the down arrow on the keyboard. After you finish, check the Access box next to each configured company.

- In the Environments tab, check the Access box of each module the user will have access to.

- Click Confirm. The user is already able to access Protheus through Smartclient


Changing user password:
- Access Configurator > User > Passwords > Users.

- Click on the user, then Change.

- Change the password in the Password field and Confirm.

- If you want the user to change the password to their own on the first access after entering the designated password, check the box Change Password in the next login.

- Click Confirm.
