What is fluig Identity?
Identity manages identities in fluig. Its mission is to centralize access to multiple systems by using a single login for each user, ensuring control and security for the company's applications.
Single Sign-On: a single password for everything
Multiple systems require multiple passwords. On a daily basis, it is difficult to remember and ensure the security of all of them. Fluig Identity can solve this problem for you: after logging on, you have easy access to all your applications.
Centralized access management
Each system in your company has an exclusive environment for user management and permission. In addition, security maintenance and access to information can become a big headache when moving people within the company. Identity allows simplified, unified total control over these activities, making things much easier for IT.
Simplified password reset
One of the worst productivity villains in system management is user password recovery. Lost access? No problem! With Identity, password reset is self-service, which increases end user's autonomy and reduces IT personnel's workload.
Quick guide
Do I need internet access to use fluig Identity?
Yes, you do. Fluig Identity is an SAAS tool, so you have to have access to the internet to use it.
What is the first step to start using fluig Identity?
Open a ticket with fluig Support requesting the creation of fluig Identity Production and Approval environments, as per the documentation Creating Identity accounts. We recommend that all settings and tests are initially performed in the approval environment and later replicated in the production environment.

The terms "company" and "context" are used interchangeably throughout this documentation to describe the space of your company within fluig Identity.
After first accessing it as the context administrator, how do I add users?
There are two ways to add users to the context: by manually creating users or importing them from an LDAP directory (Active Directory or OpenLDAP).
I want to import my users, who are already registered in Active Directory (AD). How do I do this?
The first step is to associate the LDAP directory, in this case an Active Directory, to your context in fluig Identity in order to get the token to be used next when configuring SmartSync. All you have to do is enter a name for the directory and the token will be generated automatically.
What is SmartSync?
SmartSync is a desktop application that is responsible for the connection between the company in fluig Identity and Active Directory. Procedures such as access authentication in Identity using the AD password, user import and change synchronization are performed via SmartSync.
I have already installed SmartSync. Do I need to configure any settings?
Yes, now is the time to enter both the Active Directory connection data and the token previously generated in your context in the SmartSync settings. This way the application will be able to get the registration data from AD and send them to your company in fluig Identity.
SmartSync is configured, up and running, but users are not displayed in my context...
Users are not provisioned (i.e. created) in the fluig Identity context right after being imported from Active Directory. In order to be provisioned, imported users must first be accepted by the context administrator. As soon as they are accepted, their user status is updated to Active in the company.
How does Identity access external services, such as fluig?
Fluig Identity accesses fluig (or any other service) via applications (apps). The administrator can use the default applications provided by Identity or create new apps according to their needs. Fluig, for example, has a specific application.
How do I integrate fluig with the Identity context?
This integration consists of two steps: (1) configure the URL to access fluig in the Identity application and (2) configure the Identity context URL in the wcmadmin's Control panel in fluig.
And how do users access the fluig application?
Once integrated, simply associate Identity users to the fluig application so that they can access it directly from the Launchpad, that is, the page that brings together all the apps available in the context.
