Integration Receivings Accounts Receivable EMS2 (Customer Return).
 
The integration way should be parameterized in the program of Site Maintenance (cd0403) in folder "Integrations", field "Integration CR x NCR". Below we have the description of what will happen in Accounts Receivable according to the parameterization chosen.
 
1 - "ADVANCE" – In this parameterization, integration with with Accounts Receivable will be done by the creation of prepayments and the Regular Document will not have modifications. Prepayment will be generated with the return value, remember that the return process can generate more than one Prepayment, however the sum of prepayments will constitute the total value of return.
 
2 - "CREDITA" – In This parameterization, integration with Accounts Receivable is done aiming at totally/partially issuing the documents which still have balance. This process will generate a DEV transaction (Return) in the documents of Accounts Receivable referring to the invoice in return. Reminding that the return process may be covering several documents and that the sum of DEV transactions done in thos e documents will be the same as the return value.
 
3 - "CREDIT/ADVANCE" – In this parameterization, integration with Accounts Receivable is done based on two previous concepts, that is, return will occur in the following way:
 
- Prepayments referring to the value which your customer had already paid to Accounts Receivable will be generated.
 
- A DEV (Return) document referring to the value which was still open in the document will be generated in Regular Documents of the Accounts Receivable.
 
4 - "CANCELA" – The documents in Accounts Receivable will not be modified and also no prepayment will be generated.
 

 
MOST FREQUENT DOUBTS
1 – I am generating a Customer Return in Receiving, however this process did not integrate Accounts Receivable.
When this may occur?
R – The situations below make the process of Customer Return not to update Accounts Receivable:
   
1 – The system is parameterized as "CREDIT" or "CREDIT/ADVANCE" – situations which modify the document balance – and the Documents are sent to the bank (electronic collection), however the bank did not return receipt confirmation for the documents.
   
2 – The Regular Document is in a bearer of Discount Modality.
   
3 – The system is parameterized as "CANCEL".
   
4 – The system is parameterized as "CREDIT" and the balance of regular document is zero.
 
2 – In the integration of Customer Return of Accounts Receivable, no prepayment not DEV (Return) transaction was generated in the document of Accounts Receivable and the situation of my Regular documents was modified to "In Return". Why did this happen?
R – During Customer Return, one of the mentioned situations happened in the previous question, in this case the situation of Documents is modified to “In Return" and the integration is not done.
 
3 – How do I know which of the reasons mentioned in question 1 that makes the process of Customer Return did not integrate Accounts Receivable?
R – When one of the situations described in question 1 happens, the system generates a History in the document describing the situation that makes integration not to occur.
 

4 – I generated a Customer Return and the process integrated my Accounts Receivable improperly, however commissions were not reversed. There is a way to reverse the commissions by the process of Customer Return?
R – Yes, When typing receipt by return, the system makes a question: "Do you wish to reverse commission?" Yes/No. If yes is answered to this question, the system does the reverse the commission in Accounts Receivable. Remember that this process only reverses commissions done in the document print.
 
5 – Because the process of Customer return generates several Credit Notes in the system?
R – Credit Notes will always be generated during the integration of returns by Receiving, be when generating Credit in source Trade Bill, be in prepayment generation. This procedure is the product concept, and the credit note allows tracking Return integration, containing the same trade bill key, making the class different.
 
6 – I need that the process of Customer return does not modify my Accounts Receivable. How can I do it?
R – For the process of Customer return not to integrate Accounts Receivable, in program of Site Maintenance (cd0403) in folder "Integrations", field "Integration CR x NCR" is parameterized as "CANCEL". Remember that despite not executing integration with Accounts Receivable, this parameterization modifies the situation of documents covered to "In Return".7 – How can I identify what documents of Accounts Receivable are with situation "In Return"?
R – For such we have Report "Exception List" (cd0614) where it is possible to list the documents with this situation. For such, just choose in the Parameters Page item "Return".
 
8 – Why doesn’t Customer Return process integrate documents which are sent to the bank without the receipt confirmation?
R – When the document was sent to the bank, however it did not have the confirmation of bank receipt, that is, there is no banking number, we cannot do the return transaction in the document because we’d have to generate together with this PBX (Issue Order) or ABT (Write-Off) which should be sent to the bank and PBX and ABT transactions cannot be generated without a banking number (The bank would refuse the transaction). In the above mentioned situation, the system only modifies the document situation to in return.
 
9 – How can I know that a prepayment was generated by the process of Customer Return, once the source of those prepayments are as Manual?
R – The source of prepayments is checked as manual because its creation occurs in accounts receivable. The source of transaction can be verified in the document of Credit note existing in accounts receivable generated because of return, the source of this document is "Invoicing" indicating that its creation occurred because of a customers’ return.
   
The document of Credit Note linked to Prepayment can be verified through button 'Credit Note' existing in folder transaction when inquiring prepayment.
 
10 – I made a return of Customer and this process moved, besides return accounts, accounts of \cofisn\csll. Why does this occur?
R - See FAQ 52394.
