Procedures
To access tool:
| 1. | Enter the address http://Protheus11Server/BSC in the browser. |
Protheus11Server is the name of the Protheus server or of an address published on the Internet. If you cannot access the Balanced Scorecard, check the ppserver.ini file configurations.
The system displays the Balanced Scorecard start page and requests a user and password. A user called BSCADMIN, the password of which is BSC, is in the system. Enter this user and password to access the Balanced Scorecard.
In case the station still has the Java Plug-in, its installation is requested. You can download the Plug-in from Sun website: (http://java.sun.com), on Java VM link. The oldest version still usable is 1.4.2..
| 2. | On the logon screen, you can start Balanced Scorecard three different ways: |

Balanced Scorecard runs within a web browser.
| • | Its own window |
Balanced Scorecard runs in its own window, but you cannot exit the initial browser in which you first logged on because communication with the Microsiga Protheus ® server occurs by means of this screen.
| • | Java Web Start |
In this mode, a new online installation of Balanced Scorecard occurs as an application, apart from the web browser.
