Data Collector

The ACD (Automation and Data Collection) technology was developed to fulfill the growing needs of the companies to use their system remotely, through portable resources integrated to the corporative system (ERP).

This module aims to optimize data collection through portable equipment, using barcode identification as a resource to go online and gather information regarding transactions of materials. This technology targets companies that need effective stock control.

It is the solution for radiofrequency data collectors, micro-terminals or TelNet terminals, directly connected to Microsiga Protheus family products.

Through the use of this equipment, you can work on-line, automating ERP routines, yet boosting these processes using the default market barcode, creating mechanisms which make the transaction control and checking easier.

This model is available only for use with protocol VT100, enabling the access to the whole system and the execution of specific routines, attaching them to the menu, similar to other modules of Microsiga Protheus®. You can also configure the access to the options per user.

This module was constructed to work together with the use of ACDSTD and WMS, but it can be used for programs developed in camp, with protocol VT100, enabling the customization of new functionalities and automation of any process, maximizing the use of this technology.

Main functionalities of the module:

It controls the material received through reading of barcode, checking with data of the Purchase Request or Inbound Invoice, verifying inconsistencies and/or performing the physical entry of materials.

Separates, packs, generates and prints the Outgoing Invoice and official labels.

Registers warehouses and addresses to be inventoried, accomplishes inventory of products/material through RF (radiofrequency), automatically registering the count results. Performs stock transactions.

Performs the end of the productions, based on the documents Production Order and/or Operation Script, finishing the production phase, and enables the follow-up and control of the productive process.

Performs production/loss and idle time annotations, based on Machine Load allocated operations.

Enables, in any part of the collector, to query the products, the balance in stock in reference to a certain address and the products contained in an outflow volume.

Issues the thermal printer labels used for product, box, parcel unit, address and carrier identification.
