Configurations Menu

On this menu, configure the following options:

Scheduler

Use this option to schedule Indicator data source imports and to call for meetings.

Outgoing E-mail Servers

Use this option to configure the e-mail server used to send emails to the users, such as scheduled meeting notifications (other e-mail notices to be implemented in future releases).

User Directories

Use this option to define the users and user groups that access the Balanced Scorecard (not to be confused with People In Charge of Collection, who do not necessarily access the system).

Procedures

To schedule the import:

1. On the information tree, double-click scheduler. Click New.
2. Name the schedule, choose the action (Other - it may be the scheduling of indicators).

If you choose Meeting Notification, select the meeting.

If Others, define the function to be executed.

If you want to schedule an indicator import, schedule the BSCDATASRCJOB(n) function, in which n is ID code of the schedule entered by Balanced Scorecard in the Data Source.

3. Define the Initial and Final Date and Time, and the frequency between imports. If you enter 12 AM in the frequency, it means only one import takes place between the specified beginning and end.
4. If you import indicators, enter the Environment of Microsiga Protheus® in which the data source is executed.
5. Click Save.

When Balanced Scorecard is ran by any user, a job is executed to monitor the correct schedule dates and times. For this scheduler, select the Scheduler folder and stop/start the job.
