Group Configuration

This routine enables you to configure the required fields when an asset is added or changed.

Configuration of mandatory fields helps you add or change an asset, so that any important information for certain asset is not forgotten.

Example:

An asset from Computers group must have some mandatory attributes, such as memory, HD capacity, etc.

An asset from Vehicles group must have some mandatory attributes, such as license plate, chassis, year, etc.

Asset code must be based on the asset group. For example: an asset from Computers group can have the COMPxxxxxx code.

Asset Code: Enter the formula that suggests the base code of the asset.
